Sean Fortune

Sean Fortune is a Master Creative Technologist, multidisciplinary educator, and the architect of the Mind Mechanism™. His life and work are defined by a "re-bored engine" of immense resilience, forged in the intersection of high-level technical innovation and profound personal trial. A second-generation British man of West Indian roots, Sean’s professional stature was established on the international stage, where he served as a university lecturer and the creative lead for the UNESCO World Heritage opening ceremony. As a specialist in immersive technologies, including Blender, Unity, and VR/AR, he has spent decades exploring how digital environments can interface with human consciousness. However, the true "Laboratory of the Mind" where his work was perfected was not found in a studio, but in the fire of adversity. From navigating the restrictive "discipline" of 1970s Britain to surviving a two-year custodial sentence in Thailand, and later overcoming a morphine-based medical fog during a battle with Buerger’s Disease, Sean was forced to engineer his own survival. As a wheelchair user and neurodivergent thinker who "tastes color and sees sound," he transformed the "chaotic complexities" of his internal world into a sovereign behavioral operating system. Today, residing in Germany, Sean has codified these decades of field research into To the Quiet Place Within. This work is the first clinical application of the Somatic-Narrative Framework (SNF)—a system designed to provide neurodivergent and trauma-impacted learners with the "Linguistic Scaffolding" and somatic anchors required to master their own internal reality. Sean remains dedicated to building "Fortresses" of data and integrity, securing a legacy of internal sovereignty for his two sons, Amile and Amis, and providing a hardened standard of peace for the "Invisible Chickens" of the world.
